Ashley N. Simpson
Owner, Team Director:
Ashley Simpson is the Founder, Owner, and Team Director of ANS Rhythmics, one of the largest and most successful rhythmic gymnastics academies in Texas. With over 16 years of elite athletic and coaching experience, she has built a nationally recognized program known for discipline, technical excellence, and consistent results.
Trained by former Romanian National Team member Elinor Smoljan, Ashley is a former FIG Professional, Junior Olympian, and USA National competitor, as well as a USAG-certified National Rhythmic Judge. She has developed numerous State, Regional, and National Champions, guiding athletes through both the USAG Junior Olympic and FIG Olympic pathways.
Holding a degree in Business Administration, Ashley leads ANS with a structured, professional approach—instilling discipline, accountability, resilience, and high standards that prepare athletes for success both in sport and in life.
Ashley is a USAG Professional Coach, USAG Certified Rhythmic Judge, Rhythmic Meet Director, and USAG Safety Certified. She has also passed all USAG background checks required to work with children.

Petra Frank
Senior Manager, Team Coach
Petra Frank brings over 30 years of experience in rhythmic gymnastics and has trained exceptional athletes including State, Regional, and National Champions, as well as Junior Olympians. Her depth of knowledge and long-standing influence in the sport have played a key role in shaping high-level gymnasts and successful programs.
Trained under world-renowned ballerina Lodena Edgecumbe, Petra emphasizes strong ballet foundations, precision, and artistry within rhythmic gymnastics. Her coaching philosophy centers on discipline, consistency, and work ethic, which she believes are essential to long-term success—both in sport and in life.
Beyond technique, Petra instills values of sportsmanship, self-discipline, and determination, developing athletes who perform with confidence and professionalism in competition.

Naomi Skotnikov
Team Coach
Naomi is a distinguished former three-time Junior and Senior USA National Team member who competed at the highest levels, representing the United States both nationally and internationally from 2018 to 2023. During her illustrious career, she earned over 20 international medals, became a 9-time Elite Level 10 gymnast, and was crowned the Elite National Champion in both hoop and ribbon. Naomi also trained and competed with the USA FIG Junior Group and was consistently selected by USAG to train at the prestigious Elite Squad camps at the Olympic Training Center from the age of 9 until she was 15.
Her years of dedication, tireless training under Olympic and world champion coaches, collaboration with renowned ballet and LA dance instructors, and experience with Cirque du Soleil performers have shaped her into a unique and innovative coach and choreographer. Naomi's exceptional achievements on the national and international stage are a testament to her commitment and passion for the sport.
Naomi now channels her extensive experience and technical expertise into her choreography and instruction, where she combines her creative flair with a personalized approach to guide and empower motivated gymnasts. Her goal is to help her students transform into exceptional athletes, unlocking their full potential by harmonizing technical mastery with artistic expression.

Natalia Cervantes
Flexibility & Team Coach
Natalia brings over 11 years of rhythmic gymnastics experience to ANS Rhythmics. As a former FIG Professional gymnast, she earned multiple Regional and National titles throughout her competitive career. Her training journey took her around the world, including training at a top-rated gym in Spain, where she had the opportunity to work under Olympic-level coaches and former National Team members from Kazakhstan and the USSR.
Now, Natalia brings that high-level experience and passion into her coaching. She is known for combining discipline, strong technical fundamentals, and genuine care for each gymnast she works with. Her background in Kinesiology and Psychology further strengthens her coaching style, helping her better understand athlete development, body mechanics, proper technique, and confidence building.
With coaching experience working with gymnasts of all ages and levels, Natalia is passionate about helping athletes grow not only in skill and strength, but also in artistry, work ethic, and self-confidence.

Karima Muturganova
Beginner & Circus Coach
Karima Muturganova, originally from Kazakhstan, is a professional circus artist, stage director, and coach with over 30 years of experience, having begun her career at the age of 3. She trained at Moscow’s prestigious Nikulin Circus and performed internationally across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East as part of the renowned circus trio “Muturganchiki.” Throughout her career, she has gained extensive performance experience.
Since 2016, Karima has been coaching rhythmic gymnastics, specializing in apparatus technique and performance development. She works with hoops, clubs, balls, and three-ball juggling, which helps beginner gymnasts improve coordination and fine motor skills.

Evgeniia Solovyova
Beginner & Strength Coach
Evgeniia's (Jane) professional career is connected with figure skating. Evgenia was a member of the Tatarstan figure skating team. She competed in the Master of Sports category. Evgenia graduated from a medical university but connected her life with sports and a healthy lifestyle. Jane is engaged in the physical training of young gymnasts and choreography. Jane has extensive personal training experience and is also a specialist in the field of movements which applies to all fileds in rhythmic gymnastics. She is a certified USAG Rhythmics Gymnastics and works with adults/children who have problems with the musculoskeletal system, as well as during rehabilitation after injuries. The presence of medical (anatomical) knowledge and professional sports knowledge in the training system helps Jane find the right approach to training gymnasts.

Viktoria Pomposhova
Assistant Coach
Viktoria has competed in rhythmic gymnastics for 9 years, holding several local, state, and regional titles. In 2018, she qualified for the Region 6 regional team, and competed at the USAG Junior Olympics. Viktoria is now a Company member of the Ballet Ensemble of Texas, and has performed roles including Snowflake, Waltz of the Flowers, Maid, Arabian, and Spanish in the Nutcracker, along with Arabian Doll and Villager Girl in Coppelia, and a Flower Fairy in A Midsummer Night's Dream. She also competed at the 2023 Universal Ballet Competition Semi-Finals in Atlanta, GA, and received a rating of High Gold, qualifying her for the Finals. Viktoria has been coaching for 2 years now, working with gymnasts of all levels. She currently attends Coppell High School, and in her free time enjoys playing the clarinet, for which she has also received multiple awards and recognitions, including a Director’s Choice Award, Outstanding Soloist, and being a multiple-time member of the All-City and All-Region Bands.
Coach Viktoria is also a USAG Professional Coach, USAG Safety Certified, and passed all the USAG background checks to work with children.
